One of my favorite things about the holiday season is shopping for loved ones. Before I begin, I try to reflect on what I know and love about each person on my list. To me, the very best gifts are the ones with a personal touch. I also try to think about the gifts I’ve been given that really touched my heart, as well as the ones I use again and again. The below list is a roundup of my favorite gift picks and who I think they’re best suited for… and hey, maybe you’ll find something to add to your own wish list!
As you may already know, the Emily Rockwell Skin Clinic is based in Greenville, Delaware. We’re lucky to have so many wonderful small shops in the area, so where possible, I’m providing the local shops where I buy these products. I encourage you all to do the same and shop local when you can as it’s so vital to our communities!

My favorite gifts to give are the things I personally use and love. This is one of those items- the cosmetic case from Calpak has enough room for my color cosmetics AND all my ZO skincare. When you’re headed to a holiday house party- this is what you need to bring! This basil infused olive oil is unbelievably delicious with a loaf of rustic bread or drizzled on a tomato mozzarella salad. Create a little gift basket with this olive oil, some artisanal salts and cheeses and you’ll make your party host super happy.

Vitruvi Stone Essential Oil Diffuser, $119
Our entire team is absolutely obsessed with fragrance so finding a signature scent in our new space was such a fun and challenging task. Candles can be problematic in an office setting so we opted for essential oils which we diffuse with these beautiful stone diffusers from Vitruvi. They’re functional and beautiful all at once- perfect for office settings or homes with kiddos, pets or forgetful people!
ZO Skin Health Firming Serum, $235
No matter your skin type- everyone NEEDS ZO Firming Serum. It’s the one product we recommend to everybody and I’ve said it a million times before- this product helped me put off cheek filler for YEARS! It’s a favorite of all my patients.
SolaWave Red Light Therapy Wand, $149
As a lover of all things convenient and portable, this Red Light Therapy Wand from SolaWave is something I consider a must-have. It can travel anywhere and fades blemishes, fine lines, boosts skin’s glow and amplifies the power of your serums and moisturizers.
Laura Mercier Holiday Collection, Prices range from $39 – $95
My favorite color cosmetic line is Laura Mercier. I love that their products allow skin to show through and putting it on is nearly fool-proof. When I have a photo shoot or event, I always go to Houpette in Greenville, Delaware to have my makeup applied and it’s ALL Laura Mercier. Their holiday collection is festive and femme and perfect for all your glam besties.
Capabanga Canvas Multi-Pocket Market Tote, $50
Have a person in your life that loves to shop weekend markets and practice sustainability? They NEED this canvas market tote! It’s got pockets for everything. There’s a nook for a carton of milk, a sleeve for eggs, even a little seatbelt for flowers on the exterior that keeps water from leaking into the bag. They’ll never leave home without it!
Jennifer Fisher Natasha Hoops, $95 – $450
I couldn’t possibly leave off the earrings I wear almost everyday! I know at this price point they’re a considered purchase, which is why I love these as a gift for someone extra special- your mom, your wife, your sister. They’re modern yet timeless and because they’re hollow inside, they don’t weigh a ton! They’re also available in a ton of different sizes and metals so you can truly pick a look that’s perfect for your recipient.
Smythson Titled Notebook, $79
The titled notebooks from Smythson are such a sentimental pick. With witty one-liners like “SUPER HERO”, “BUSY BEE,” and “LIVING MY BEST LIFE,” there’s a notebook for every personality. The Cooluli Mini Fridge was something I didn’t expect to love as much as I do! If you have someone on your list that never skips their skincare regimen or loves a self-care moment, they NEED this! It makes every product more soothing, more enjoyable and more fun. Plus they have several sizes and colors so you can choose one that’s just right.
Longwood Gardens Membership $90 / Or a Membership to a Local Museum
Gifting someone an experience they’ll always remember is such a wonderful thing. In our area, Longwood Gardens is a destination year-round and I love gifting their memberships or gift cards. If you’re not in the Delaware/Pennsylvania area, I highly recommend tickets to a museum, exhibit, or aquarium based on your recipients unique interests and passions.
Brunn Gruner Vetliner, $18
Hands down my favorite wine- Gruner Vetliners come primarily from Austria and are not as well known as other white varietals. I love to give this to a wine lover because it’s something they may have never experienced before. My favorite bottle shop Swigg is located in Wilmington, Delaware, and they always keep stock of this incredible Gruner from Brunn.
